The Romans combined family photos, Cole Reynolds' two year photos and maternity photos all in one shoot. The cd with the photos comes tomorrow, but above are a couple of the previews that were posted on facebook.
The Roman's are in full-out family nesting mode preparing for BR2. We don't know if the baby will be a boy or a girl yet, so the nursery will be largely incomplete when BR2 arrives. However, we have stocked the room with washcloths, burpcloths, wipes, diapers, ointment, etc.--all the things that do not require us to know whether it is a boy or a girl. The drapes are up, the dresser is in, and we think we know which of the two cribs we are going to go with (boy or girl), and thankfully it is the one that has been sitting in the garage for about 2 months. Operation Prepare Cole Reynolds has also begun. We have set up the pack-n-play in our room and explained that it is for the baby to sleep in. We purchased a baby doll so that he can practice holding the baby. He really wants the baby doll to wake up. Let's hope he lets the real baby sleep more peacefully without requiring his/her wakeful presence.
