Beach Time

Surprisingly, we did not make it to the beach for the first three days we were in Hawaii.  I wasn't sure whether the kids would like it or not, but that wasn't the reason we didn't make it there initially. We were just busy with other fun adventures.  We are making up for lost time. We have gone the last few days.  I was surprised that Cole Reynolds likes the beach much more than I thought he would.  I thought he would not care for the feel of sand under his feet, but he hasn't had any problems with it.  In fact, he loves to dig in the sand. He has built oceans in the sand, he has built rivers in the sand, and he has even built one Sandcastle.  He will wade out in the water too.  Gemma has been a little more cautious about the beach.  Generally, she prefers to be held.  However, yesterday with the grandparents she had a lot of fun playing and floating in the water.  Below, are a few pictures from this morning's beach fun.
