Here Comes Santa

We went to church to learn about the real reason for Christmas. We got there on time, which is early for us, but it was still too late to secure a seat. Cole was super well behaved and definitely working to stay on Santa's "Nice List". Gemma, well, she doesn't understand the concept of the "Nice List" and the "Naughty List", and it's a good thing. Gemma spent most of Mass using her park voice instead if her church voice. What are you going to do?

After church, the kids bathed and dressed in their new Santa pajamas and prepared for Santa's arrival. We put out cookies and water for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. We opened one present--a copy of the Polar Express-- and the kids snuggled up with Joel and read their new bedtime story. Cole got a call from Santa from his sleigh. Santa promised Cole he would be by the house soon. The kids are tucked in now. Let's hope they stay that way until 7:30!!
