So, no picture to show for it, but our little guy is clapping. It is completely adorable and of course the cheers that ensue when he claps make him smile his big gummy smile. I have only seen it happen once and he was pretty darn pleased with himself when he did it. Joel informs me that he likes to clap to get his attention. I believe the exact context was that Joel was "playing" with him in Cole World, and by playing I mean texting while Cole Reynolds played, and when little Cole Reynolds wasn't getting his daddy's full attention, he clapped at him to get it. My mom reports other similar happenings, so I'm left to conclude that we might have a little attention grabber on our hands.
In other cute Cole news, he is definitely ticklish. He loves being tickled on his feet and legs and under his arm with your nose. I would say generally speaking he just loves to laugh and his daddy and I are happy to try to make him laugh--there is nothing better in this world than his laugh or his smile.
Abuelita and Grandpa Evans are in Oklahoma City this weekend. I am sure Cole Reynolds will miss them terribly, but soon they will both be here a lot.
