I've learned that when baby books say "Date, First Tooth", "Date, Walking" they must mean some sort of approximate date. How do you call the date on a tooth? Is it when it breaks through, when it is substantially through the gum, or when it is fully through? Not so easy, huh? Well, for the record, I am calling it at "breaking through". As for walking, I'm calling it today. Why? Well, I will tell you: (a) Cole Reynolds stood up today, unprompted and walked on his own--multiple steps--and finished it off by NOT falling into his destination after one to three wobbly steps; (b) Cole stopped after a couple of steps to break it down before continuing on; and (c) Cole repeated his walking feat multiple times as if he was waiting all day to show Joel and me his new trick. Here's the video--enjoy!
Oh yeah, and in case you were able to tear your eyes off Cole Reynolds' major milestone achievement and sweet dance moves, yes, that is a sippy (14 oz) of Gatorade in the background--athletes need to stay hydrated, right?
