Friday's don't get much better than today. We woke up at 7:00 to a beautiful sun shining day. So we called an audible and decided to take Cole Reynolds on his first expedition to the zoo! It was a great success. I'm not sure if he had more fun looking at the animals or the gazillion kids running around like wild animals. Assuming it was the animals, his favorite were the giraffes! They let you get close enough to feed the giraffe's lettuce so he got to see his favorite animal up close and personal. Cole Reynolds also got to see cheetahs, penguins, gorillas, cranes, wild hogs, elephants, etc.
After the zoo, we went to have lunch on the patio. It was the perfect patio on a perfect day--plenty of shade and no wind. Cole enjoyed the lunch a lot too. No pics of the zoo yet, but below are a couple from lunch that I took with my Blackberry.
Daddy said it was a dull knife and that I should just keep it away from my eyes.
