"Wes"

For the longest time all children say is "no". There is no "yes". Even when you can't imagine that they can express themselves without actually using the word "yes", they do with no mention of the word. Then, suddenly the other day, Gemma said "Wes". At first, I didn't know what she was talking about.  But then, I figured out she was saying, "yes"! I found it to be quite possibly one of the cutest things she's ever done. I now use every opportunity I can to get her to say, "Wes"!  Like all phases in a toddlers life, both good and bad, this phase shall pass.  I for one, will be sad to see it go...when it does. Until then, like all of the other moments I love so much, I will just continue to soak it all up.
