Sunday Funday

This past Sunday, I was lucky enough to have my first Daddy/Daughter date and decided to celebrate the one thing it appears that Gemma and I both have in common; a love of donuts.  GG's and I picked up some donuts and headed over to Whataburger by Bachman Lake so that we could watch the Southwest Airlines planes land (very up close) while we savored our donuts and Taquitos.  Gemma also likes to eat Taquitos just like Daddy.  Every time a planned landed resulted in an ear-to-ear grin.  The date was pure bliss and no question tied for the prettiest girl I have ever taken out.

The day turned out to be a perfect, sunny high 60's low 70's day and we went to our favorite neighborhood patio restaurant after church, Fernando's.  The kids both ate well and played with their stamp markers rather attentively the whole meal which meant Amy and I actually got to taste our food and chat.  Cole helped me wash mommy's car while Amy and GG's took a nap after lunch and we ended the afternoon with some pumpkin carving.  Amy carved the Goblin and I carved the Spooky.
