Blowing Bubbles
Contrary to what you might think, it's not Cole Reynolds blowing bubbles....it's Gemma. She has learned how to how to blow raspberries. It is pretty darn funny (to me anyway). I noticed it yesterday and last night, I was awaken in the middle of the night, by my little bubble blower. She thinks it's great fun. She's even decided it's fun to do at meal time, which is both annoying and pretty darn cute. Joel, being the child development specialist that he is, looked at her and said, "Oh my gosh, she's foaming at the mouth." After I assured him she was not, he wanted to know if it was normal. Of course it's normal, Joel!!
Gemma has also found her hands in the last week or so. She likes to clasp them together and is frequently sticking them in her mouth, which means this momma is on high alert for germy hands that may come into contact with hers.
Poor Cole has not been fairing as well the last couple of days. He's been under the weather. He came down with a virus on Friday and has been alternating between being quite pitiful and super amped up. The pitiful rears its head when his fever is high. Otherwise, he is bouncing off the walls. Although we are fairly strict on screen time around Casa de Roman, I've made an exception for days of illness--honestly this is only the second time he's been really sick. I'm thinking he's going to turn into Dora or Boots at this point.
