My Bluebonnet Babies
Above are our first bluebonnet photos...I suppose it's fitting. Although I'll probably never consider myself a Texan, I cannot ignore the fact that my kids are, in fact, Texans--born in Texas to a Texan native with a foreseeable future in Texas. Oh well. Therefore, to fully embrace our Texan roots, we took bluebonnet photos. I'm a fan. Of course, I'm a fan of any professional photos of my kids because my photos are not so good. I'd like them to see themselves as the adorable little kiddos I see everyday. Speaking of adorable (to me at least), Cole does the most random funny things. Today, for some unknown reason, he decided he wanted to get the soap out of the big shower and put it in the big tub. Once in the big tub, he wanted to put the soap in Cole's tub. Why? No idea. He's never shown even a remote interest in the soap before. Notwithstanding the oddness of his requests, it wasn't really hurting anything so I humored him. We went in his bathroom (never mind that it is also Gemma's bathroom) and put the soap in the soap holder. Then, he turned around with his little smile and said "I want to take a bath." Again, not hurting anything, so okay, let's take a bath. Did I mention it was 9:45 in the morning? We take baths every evening so I have no idea why the soap and why the bath, but hey, at least he's clean.
