Wednesday, our super, duper spoiled little boy got a new friend while at the mall with Elena. Elena had told me awhile back that Cole Reynolds loved to go in to the Build A Bear store. Mainly, he was interested in playing with the computers they have in there. On Wednesday, I received the photos below. I asked whether Cole had asked for a new friend, and Elena told me that after over hearing a mom ask her little girl which new friend she wanted, Cole looked at Elena and said "Nena, we just have to get a new friend." That little stinker! Well, of course, Elena, being the sweet and generous person she is, couldn't turn Cole down. Cole immediately selected the puppy as his new friend. I asked Elena if Cole had chosen a name for the puppy yet. Although he had initially selected "Spots" (upon the suggestion of the store clerk), he later thought better of it and has been calling the puppy "Pattotie". None of us have any idea where he came up with that name. On the way home from the mall, Cole kept asking Elena if he had to share Pattotie with Gemma to which she kept responding, "yes." Cole then proceeded to quote parts of his new book that he got yesterday called "Llama Llama Time to Share." That kid cracks me up! We'll see if he is able to learn to share Pattotie share like Llama Llama because Brutus is certainly NOT being shared.
As it turns Pattotie it didn't stick though. The puppy is once again "Spot." Sadly, I can report that Cole has not been fond of sharing Spot either. Spot mysteriously barks and indicates that wants to go somewhere else every time Gemma tries to touch him.
