Turns out "Sonic style" ice, is the best thing since sliced bread as far as Gemma is concerned (or really, in her case, the best thing since grapes or guacamole). She couldn't get enough of the ice!! Cole, you'll see in the background of the top picture and then later again below was using our table number as a train crossing. As you may have guessed, the bus boy LOVED that. Well, at least he had a pretty good humor about it. Our note to self from our fun at Liberty Burger is (a) if Gemma isn't eating, she may be nearly as distracting while we are eating as Cole Reynolds and (b) eating out even when Cole has already eaten is still not as much fun in practice as it is in theory. It is just plain boring for him to watch people eat, and when Cole is bored, Joel and Amy are not going to have very much fun. We ended up packing up our dinner half way through and just heading home.
After we got home, it was bath time. Since Cole didn't nap today, it was time for another double bath. At this rate, Cole may warm to the group bath by the end of the week. Gemma continues to think it is great fun. She likes to put the Little People fisherman in Cole's face for some reason, which sets him off shouting "Gemma spilled water on me, Gemma spilled water on me!" No, Cole, she didn't exactly spill water on you.
