Gemma Is Walking (Almost)!

I am told that Gemma took two tiny steps on Thursday. Neither Joel nor I were here to see it sadly, but on Friday Joel got to see her take two tiny steps too. I got my chance yesterday at the park. She loves to play with the wood chips so she was bent over running her hands back and forth, and then she stood up. At first she was a little paralyzed with indecision about what her next step should be. She didn't necessarily want to plop down and crawl, but she wasn't sure about walking either. Ultimately, she took two steps (in controlled fall mode) over to Joel. Yay, Gemma!!! I think by this time next weekend, she'll be a walker in earnest.
