The kids and I drove back with my parents Sunday after Gemma's baptism to spend a few days in Oklahoma. Cole Reynolds had been saying he wanted to visit Oklahoma since our last visit. Since I have only a couple of weeks of maternity leave left, I decided it was now or never. As it turns out, "Oklahoma" is my parents house...we've tried to explain that it is a name that applies to the whole state, which, by the way, he can pick out on a map of the United States, but he insists on pointing to the house saying this is Oklahoma. Oh well.
Today, we went to visit Norman. We went by the stadium, saw a little bit of the campus and then went to the Nature and Science Museum. He was super excited to see the dinosaurs but then barely spent any time at all seeing them. He did climb around in a canoe that was on exhibit and had fun playing in the children's area. He also had a lot of fun seeing the stadium. He sat in the stands and even got to stand on the field.
Gemma is having a lot of fun too--seeing lots of new things. She is such a chill baby. She just kind of goes with the flow. Aside from waking up in the middle of the night, which she rarely does, she is pretty much just being a sweet angel--love that girl!
Here's a few pics from today.
