Hello St. Thomas

Like all small mountainous islands, St. Thomas lacks jetways. But what they lack in airport infrastructure they make up with complimentary Rum shots.

Bottoms Up Baby Roman! (Amy did not drink the shot - but I did & and no - you only get one)

Following an informal airport survey of 'people that look like US Virgin Island' natives, Amy and I decided to rent a car for our Journey. We drove from the Airport in Charlotte Amalie to Redhook in about 30 minutes. In the US this would be like driving from Dallas to New York, City. This decision has already paid off both financially and culturally. In addition to saving tons on cab fair, we are free from the evil tyranny of the Ritz. Rather than settle for a gourmet dinners at Ritz surrounded by white people, Amy and I were free to roam the town of Redhook until we found Mako Shark Steak burgers at Fat Boys and saw live crab races at Molly Madigans.

This really made me laugh, I can just picture the two of you looking at each other and saying, "God, I hate all of these white people, let's get outta here!"

Keep tabs of the beaches and places to go...I'll be there in a month, assuming we don't get derailed by a hurricane.
